Default how do I get permission to acess my other harddrives

I am stikll rusty and have forgotten allot of commands and one of them is to make permission so I can access a file folder which is located on a seperate hard drive that I cannot see unless I open the partitioner. I can see this hard drive and my second Hard drive but my third I cannot see and I would like to be able to open files to and from that hard drive.

What file system is the drive you are trying to access?

Please post the output of this command, run as root:

#fdisk -l

We can they see how the drive shows up and what file system it has and then provide some input on how to mount and access it.

Cheers,

Pete

If you are already in partitioner why not choose to edit the partition.

Then choose to mount it. You can decide what to mount it as.

Be careful to MAKE SURE that 'format partition' is NOT selected as this will wipe the partition.

Cheers
