Internet with analog modem

Hello everybody,

which internal modem devices are supported with os 11.1?
A old ELSA Microlink USB FUN (win modem) doesn´t run at all.
I would prefer to use a U.S.R. PCI Modem.

Which application can i use to dial in and out easyly.

Internal modems are, generally speaking, very hard to setup in linux. They
tend to require a driver to work (not all but most).

You will get better results with and external *and* serial (rs-232) modem.

Kppp or kinternet under KDE. On Gnome, gnome-ppp or gnome-dialer, I guess.
