Default Upgraded KDE & now Media controls & sound stopped working
I upgraded allot of things in the KDE factory repo today. After doing so, I lost sound & media controls after I rebooted.

HP DV5000, 11.1, KDE 4.2.2

Can anyone help me trace down the update that caused this?

I updated too. But no problems.
Try a reboot.

Was the update just to kde4 or did it include other updates? As it is unlikely that the kde4 packages are responsible.

If you want to see what you installed/updated, look at the history file @ /var/log/zypp

Obviously, check Yast - Hardware - Sound to see if you can config it.

I was able to get sound back. I am still not able to get my keyboard wokring.

Can I reset my keyboard, like reprobe it like what is doen during install? I did some other updates too, some things I saw in red (dumb idea)
