hello, I've just installed opensuse 11.1 on my desktop. I used ubuntu before and I'm very new to opensuse. My problem is that I can't get any sound from my usb speakers. I have tried to check the sound settings but without luck. Can someone please help me and tell me what to do?

this might be a problem bcoz of not accessing your usb port..... while starting your system try changing your usb legacy mode in motherboard setup....... i too do not have much idea about it .. but just try it once |

Hi, the reason could be also the kernel update:
Kernel Update 2.6.27.19-3.2.1 - openSUSE Forums Furthermore: Did you check the sound volume in yast? Greetings Michael |

go through yast>>hardware>>sound>>other>>keep your pcm and master volume at high note:every player would have different volumes so you need to change them |
