No 3D with radeonhd driver - ATI 3850 512MB

Xorg shows that the radeonhd driver isd loaded for my card but I am not getting any 3D acceleration.

How do I get that working?

linux-cooz:/home/tylerm # glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: No
