Default Successful install Samsung ML-2010 laser on OpenSuse 11.0

I installed this printer evening on OpenSuse 11.0; (gnome); I had tried to do a little bit of pre-reading;

I selected the splix driver from the Samsung ML-2010 page on openprinting;OpenPrinting database - Printer: Samsung ML-2010 (splix rpm for LSB3.1) (I elected for YaST to install; that allowed it to download one or two other dependencies); and closed YaST.

I then turned on the printer; re-started YaST to configure the printer; it elected to download a further series of files; and then offered me a test print; which worked well;

I have since been printing in OpenOffice, and all seems to be going well;

I had read a little before; and wondered if I would need to open CUPS; http://localhost631:/ but this was not needed;

I am increasingly impressed with YaST in 11.0
