I have a similar problem, in that neither SUSE 11 or Ubuntu 8.04 sees my new 8GB Ipod Touch. When I go into amarok-settings-configure amarok and select media devices it is not recognized. Running "dcop kded mediamanager fullList" it is not recognized. using fdisk -l it is also not recognized. I would be gratefull for any io
