I know I am necromancing a bit here but once again I get called in to rescue someones computer, but this time I will face the nightmare that is Vista.
Next week I will dine in hell again, and this time the devil is serving raisin salad... I HATE raisins!

ive had a similar experience with my dad today. i got sick of restoring his laptop with xp so i put linux mint 7 on it. he loves it, it does eveything he needs but faster

Yeh, for this user I might bring along my copy of Ubuntu Ultimate edition as I dont think he is as willing to do the manual installation of codecs as my previous linux convert.
