Exclamation how to delete icons?

after installing opensuse11.1, the icons name Onlie Help n openSUSE can not be removed...
so...which way to delete?

If you will notice if you look at the permission on that icon it is read only.
Try deleting it as root.

It seems its only on a gnome install, but its kind of weird they are locked down...
I mean I can understand the reasoning but as a long time linuxer I have no use for em.

Those two items are located at:
/usr/share/dist/desktop-files

Any file placed in this directory will be on the desktop of any user. It's like C\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop in Windows.
