So does that main that software companies can't use Windows Vista/server to host their software downloads?
When you buy a piece of software off say Tigerdirect that should mean that their backend isn't Windows this is my understanding..whats yours.

With Linux you don't have to worry about the extra work of keeping up with licenses.

It means you may not use the software to host web hotels (as in create multiple instances of the OS virtually or host similar commercial services on it) or as a terminal server for commercial purposes (multiple remote clients like Citrix).

Using it as a web server to host your commercial site is a-ok.

I think that line is aimed directly at Linux users, ie you are not allowed to use their dll files (a component of the software) on anything but a copy of Vista.
