JFTR - it isn't only available in the Americas and Asia Pacific, but in
other parts of the world too. See http://en.opensuse.org/Buy_openSUSE
(not long enough to warrant a tinyurl)

Not that it matters for me - my company has been subscribed to SuSE
since about release 6.3, so I'll get my 11.0 box automatically. :-)

From my recollection, that is similar to previous openSUSE releases.

Agree & I too got that email.

There's a review process part of which is the "Documentation". The boxed version we get from Novell will include a hardcopy of the "Startup" manual, and, the "Admin Guide" & User Guide" will be included on the DVD(s).

IMHO, that's worth a week's waiting to get those valuable resources.

BTW, for those that are only going to get the GM version, The manuals can be obtained @ Novell Documentation after the boxed version release on (or soon after the 26th).

The $64,000 question is "How many have read the "Release Notes?"

I was also notified yesterday. But I updated from the repository from 11.0
RC1 to GM I think. Not sure how to actually tell. every thing says openSUSE
11.0.

Actually, they are already up: Novell Doc: OpenSUSE 11.0 - Table of Contents

Things must be progressing very well!

Way to go Novell/SuSE

Typically it takes weeks for the mule train to show up, delivering my new openSUSE. It used to be somewhat of a joke on the old SLS forum, that I live in Germany, yet I would be one of the very last to have their openSUSE be delivered by DHL, and members in Australia would get their's weeks before I obtained my delivery.

This year was different, ... I was rather stunned when I came home from work today, and found this waiting:
