Strange i can find it on Amazon.de: Günstige Preise bei Elektronik & Foto, DVD, Musik, Bücher, Games, Spielwaren & mehr but not on Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more (last version 10.2) .
On Amazon.co.uk: low prices in Electronics, Books, Music, DVDs & more they have 10.3 but not 11 yet. |

Hmm i tried to make an fake order to Australia from the novell Website- could not pull through though - because i am not in Australia.
It gave me the Price from 60 US-$ + 12 US $ Shipping When i switched to AUD it was 80 AUD + 17.68 AUD Shipping. Maybe that was what you were seeing + an evt. Credit Card Fee from Your Credit Card Issuer? Because otherwise i cant think of anything which could cause this Pricespike. Maybe just have look what it was it should be listed - because i do not think it is intentional. |

I ordered my boxed 11.0 two weeks ago. It is interesting how long it takes till it gets delivered, 10.3 takes only 6 days after public ftp release, hope this one is as fast as the last one

A dual-layer DVD (DVD-9) with both 32 and 64 bit on it. No CDs anymore since openSUSE 10.3. Well, and maybe two small surprises ;-)...

Probably a cultural difference is that in Oz the price quoted is the real price from the wallet, not the pre-tax price. So immediately my hackles would go up blinding me to thinking about it. So lets do it again on the post tax price ratio of 107.45/79.15 = 135%. The dollar exchange ratio in Oz currently is US/AU = 105% so that doesn't explain 135%. It must then come down to either a credit card charge or an erroneous exchange rate. So I'll try to do a different form of billing and see what happens there, or maybe buy a CD from USA or something and see if the same 35% surcharge is applied to something outside Novell. Maybe that will show it to be a visa markup, but it looks too big for even them to dare.
