Default no contact two days in a row

today and yesterday, around noon to almost two in the afternoon
(European Central Time) it was impossible to get to the forum via
HHTP or NNTP....additionally all contact via a browser to
opensuse.org and novell.com was impossible..

today, i did a traceroute which ended with a "firewall didn't
respond" in Irving California..

what is going on in California about 03:00 local time??

or, anyone else seeing/having the problem?

My understanding is that there were some router failures in Provo, UT, USA
where the servers reside that took some time to repair. Sorry for the
inconvenience.

I found HTTP access very very VERY slow in Europe, from around 12:00noon (Berlin time) yesterday to about 8:00pm (Berlin time) yesterday evening. Then things started speeding up again. It was a holiday in Germany yesterday, so thats why I noticed. Today its been too busy at work for me to notice.

But yesterday it gave me a good excuse to completely ignore the forums, and work on the Japan vacation home video (with kdenlive) that I promised the wife 10 months ago that I would do.

At that time I reinstalled Suse 11,1 64-bit and after finished installing the second time I had no problem to browse in Opensuse forum and I believe Vancouver Canada your area is the same time.
