arggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
What is it with this thing.......?? Every time I wanna search the Opensuse forum, I can't get past the image verification. I've tried everything.....capitals... lowercase... a mixture, I type in the exact same words and I can Never get past the **** thing....... am I doing something wrong????????? lol can we get rid of that stupid thing....? its frustrating as Hell! even the ubuntu forums don't have it... they just ask a simple question such as "how many ears does the average human have?" Can we replace the image verify with a random basic question generator??? PLEEASSSEEEE??????????? kaddy ![]() kaddy |

kaddy,
I do not see what you are obviously seeing. I log into the forums and if I have a question, I simply type it in and press go and "hey presto". Just a thought, do you log into the forums??, as that may be the problem. Best regards Keith

It's a stoopid requirement anyway.

true. it is a bit stupid to have to log in to search the opensuse forums..
still would be better if we used the same approach as the ubuntu forums... you just need to answer a simple quesiton to search, but obviously you have to register/login to post. kaddy. |

I might potentially understand the requirement to restrict posting (although there are thousands of forums allowing "Anonymous coward" posts and it doesn't seem to hurt them a bit) -- but searching? Come on, is this openSuSE or what? We should be proud to have such a knowledge base, and proudly share it with anybot. Er, I meant anybody.

As for searching, as I said above, you do not need to log in to search. I can run searches perfectly fine using the search term and the image verification. |
