And there's the opensuseUS too. And LinuxQuestions + LinuxForums both have Suse forums too. I seek help in all of them if I can't get an answer here. PS I'm a member of the unbound too, nice bunch.

I'm a member of suseunbound as well, although I haven't visited for a while. I think its a good idea to broadcast linux issues to the widest possible audience to maximise your chances of getting help. I've been a member of LinuxQuestions for several years since first playing around with Red Hat. Recently joined Linux Forums too - they have several distro-specific forums.

It is a violation of the T&C to post explicitly for the purpose of driving traffic to another site. While we personally sympathize with any forum dedicated to supporting Linux, allowing obvious exceptions opens the door for proponents of any site to use the forums as a platform to advertise their services, free or otherwise. It's an unfortunate situation we can blame our spammers for, and there's no way to easily handle the dilemma without appearing arbitrary. -- Keith Kastorff |

@sagemta, Keith's post has drawn me back to this thread. And I now wonder what this means that you said earlier:

I'd suggest you read the terms and conditions which covers advertising and
explains what needs to be done if you want to put an advertisement link in your signature: http://forums.opensuse.org/faq.php?f...#faq_novellgen -- Kim (6/22/2009 12:20:59 PM Mountain) |
