Default Communicate/Usenet page out of date

The usenet groups listed on the subject page (Communicate/Usenet - openSUSE) do not exist on the support-forums.novell.com server as stated on that page. The groups that are on that server are all mirrors of the forums in http://forums.opensuse.org. What's going on?

Thanks!

during 2008 all those nntp groups listed under the heading of "The
openSUSE.org Newsgroups" on the very out of date page were closed and
the folks there shuffled over to mirror of the hhtp forums, as you
noted..

what is going on is someone (under the name of "the openSUSE
community") decided it would be best if three different groups (two
hhtp and one nntp) were all merged into one..

Where do you see that statement? The page you mention explicitly lists all groups in the Usenet, so on non-Novell and non-Opensuse servers.

the page had been updated by the time you got to it..

the entire section named "The openSUSE.org Newsgroups", which listed
nothing but the old nntp groups, was deleted (from edit history):

"18:14, 6 March 2009 Kgroneman (removed the old, out of date
newsgroup list pointing to the Novell server)"

good work Kim...only a ~year late, but good none-the-less.

Hey, I may not be very good but at least I'm slow.
