i like the inline comment form that load when the link "reply to this comment" is clicked and i would like to have that on my site. i would very much appreciate the help, thanks.

Think that question would be better suited for the "General chit-chat forum".

Anyways.. what forum software are you using at the moment? If it's not there by default or in the configuration settings then you mostl likely need to install some sort of plugin.
If you not currently have a forum running, the software used for these boards is vBulletin I think.

vBulletin has been having Quick Reply feature out of the box from version 3.

We run vBulletin as our web interface. I suggest you start in the
