You guys must have good eyes

I don't know what the webmaster(s) here are trying to achieve by making the icons larger - as they are now for a month or so - and the fonts smaller - as a consequence of that new sidebar (!). But the forum is becoming more and more unreadable on smaller and even bigger devices - and I replaced my glasses not that long ago.

May I suggest either reading some books about web design or some articles about presbyopia... or both?

Or maybe that's just me and the web has changed again while I was sleeping - to meet new social networks and other fancy requirements.

* I figured out the zoom in function of my browser so far.

Its an interesting topic. I often wonder when working on a project if I still have to respect 800x600 or even 1024x768 resolutions anymore? Looks like the answer is yes! I have a humble 23 inch monitor @ 1920x1080 and use all of the real estate it brings.

Think nntp. No Icons and you can set the font to something readable.

lol ! I think the letters of <left-ctrl> and < + > on my keyboard are almost faded and unreadable now from my constantly pushing them to increase the font size in Firefox !

+1 and also blue writings on blue background don't make it easier for me

You can use Ctrl + Mouse wheel, too ;-)

lol ! I was also thinking maybe its time I bought new glasses. The neighbours are complaining my Fonts are too big!

I mean no offense to anyone involved in the webdesign of this forum ... but my eyes don't catch 11px on the home page. This is about 8 or 9 pt. The font size should be set in percent not in pixels.

Hi! You can zoom the font but you cannot scale it - means your browser font settings are ignored as the font size is hardcoded in the style sheet. Zooming and scaling are not the same (ask your eye doctor!).

@glistwan and anyone else frustrated by the new design ...
I allowed myself to rewrite the CSS, as I really needed it (sorry but 11 pixels is not an option for me). Here's the userstyle: opensuse forum redesigned with userstyle. You can use this style or take it as a template to overwrite a couple things (font size, colors, icons). Btw, it also tries to fix the shifted nicknames issue.
