Can't install from openSUSE12_1_LOCAL.exe - Admin privileges...

I wanted to give 12.1 a try without installing the traditional way to the hard drive. I decided to try the "local" windows install. (Instlux?)

I used MagicISO to extract the files from the ISO into a folder and ran the local.exe with admin privileges from Win7. I get the following message at the install dialog screen:

You (Admin) have not administrator privileges to complete this operation.

I checked the properties of the file to make sure I have full control of everything, and I do. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Maybe it's a problem with the beta? Maybe I'm just missing something here?

EDIT: If it's any bit of help, it happens directly after "Extract: C

grldr.mbr... 100%"

As this is a bug of win7 you should file that bug upstream at Ms!
But as I know you don't get this issue using Ubuntus wubi !

You might be right. I'm just interested to know if anyone else has had this problem and if there's any way to correct it. This place seemed a bit more realistic as far as getting a response rather than using an ms forum.

That method is not popular here, nobody I know uses it. We do not recommend
it, and we don't know how to solve its problems.

You can post this in the factory mail list instead of here, because that
one is used by developers (and users), that are supposed to know that
method. They in turn might suggest you enter a bug report in bugzilla.

No, because the .exe in question was made by openSUSE.

I would recommend trying the LiveCD media to play with it - especially
with the beta. If your system is capable of booting from a USB stick,
put the ISO on that and run from there - you can modify/update that
installation if the stick is large enough.
