So i just installed Cairo-Dock everything went perfect.I started with cairo-dock & and after i select a theme and press ok i get this

I installed it from the packman repository and never saw that output.
And it works fine...

What is the output from;

So it's working now? If not I would make sure it's not running and move
the .cairo-dock directory and files, then try again.

mv .cairo-dock backup.caro-dock
cairo-dock &

If it's all ok, you could then delete the backup directory.

Do I have to use compiz to run Cairo-Dock or will it work with Kwin builtin compositing? I get the black boxes around the dock right now and 3d is enabled and Kwin effects.

Hi
I use it with Gnome and don't see that effect. I'm guessing it may be
an xorg setting that needs to be added/removed. Maybe the xgl settings
need a tweak in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager
(see /usr/share/doc/packages/xgl/README.SUSE)?
