Rc1 Thoughts

Hi to All,

Haveing waited 14 hours for the torrent to complete I removed Beta 3 To install Rc1.

But it would not install ,It would start to install then shut down on both my AMD 64 desktop and my intel Lenova laptop.

So I dawnloaded the KDE 64bit cd.

The lenover laptop installed OK.
My desktop only after 6 tries.

So after that I found it to be very fast, no more Smart for me.
No sound in the user mode but works fine as root.
Konqueror locks up when used as a browser
when setting update information, On the laptop it installed the available repos but not in the desktop.
When trying a manual update on some repos my desktop, and portable shut down the update mode with sig erros
I could not get Kdenlive to work with the report no dvgrab but Kdenlive installed it.

Not moans just comments

What would we do without you?
Yes that was the very first thing I did but to no avail, But looking again I unticked it, shut the computor down then rebooted, ticked audio and it worked.

Any idea how to get a faster torrent/ it takes an hour and 20 mins to download the cd, but torrent is up and down like a yo yo .Stalled to 145 kbs.
