FYI - I had problems with vlc, vmplayer and compiz after doing an upgrade from 10.3 x64

vlc had an unresolvable dependency so I used the vlc repo instead of Packman's (just the vlc rpm)

compiz displayed no decorations using the default rpms but Cyborg's factory repo runs fine

vmplayer - see http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/in...howtopic=66853

when compiling various programs I'd get "asm/socket.h not found" (or such) so I had to create a soft link to the correct directory "ln -s /usr/src/linux/include/asm-x86 /usr/include/asm" (remember this is architecture specific!!)

Unresolved:

recoll won't compile - " reslist.cpp: In member function ‘virtual void ResList::resultPageNext()’:
reslist.cpp:463: error: ‘atol’ was not declared in this scope
reslist.cpp: In member function ‘virtual void ResList::linkWasClicked(const QString&, int)’:
reslist.cpp:622: error: ‘atoi’ was not declared in this scope"

beagle-search - "Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Unable to open the session message bus. ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Argument cannot be null."

autopackage error when trying to install bfilter - "autopackage-frontend-gtk: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/../lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_dpgettext"

All-in-all things are running pretty well
