Things r going great with kde 4 so far and thats good so keep up the good work.

Here r my 2 requests:

1. I don't know whether its done but there is a kde 4 theme called bespin that I think would be great if its in the repos.

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/B...n?content=63928

Since this is one of the best kde 4 themes out there, so it will be great if new users can install it from repos rather than compiling.

2. I noticed that gtk apps use their own styles rather than kde's so I found this app that should make gtk apps in kde 4 use kde s's style and that will lead to better integration so I really think this should be installed by default.

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/g...4?content=74689

Thats it! The way things r going opensuse 11.0 should be linux's OS X.

You may have a better chance of getting a response if you raise a polite "bug report", as an "enhancement" suggestion.

Those of us on this forum are volunteers, and not associated with the development. I don't think many "developers" follow the forums.

Also, if one can not get SuSE-GmbH to implement a package (with a feature), sometimes its possible to convince a Packman packager to do this.

Sounds like a good place also here http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/index.ph...c=66704&hl=

But honestly I wouldn't expect to much joy with themes Suse does one of the best KDE's. So can't see them wanting to assist too much in helping with theme installation, its not like you don't have a way also unsure if it is something pacman would want to take up either.

As for GTK integration you can normally find one, so I suspect there will be something.

Edit
Also suspect you'll be to late for Suse11 isn't rc due next? If so its likely to be in feature freeze.

I remember opensuse 10.3 has baghira in the repos so I really hope they put "bespin" in as well, I mean even kubuntu has "bespin" in its repos.

Ask or find out which repo. Then of course if you can master the build service you can make it available for others your self.

I don't really go into themes but Suse does a lot of artwork for the distro all I was saying.

I think I remember someone having requested for bespin to be in the repos in the suse 11 wishlist.

Now all I need to do is request this kde app to be in the repo.
