Hello
I tried more than once to install openSUSE 11 beta 2 to my notebook SATA disc but it behaves differently than previous release. I have different OS installed in different logical partitions, as described below: /dev/sda1 - XP /dev/sda5 - Swap /dev/sda6 - OpenSUSE 10.3 /dev/sda7 - Mint /dev/sda8 - Ubuntu /dev/sda9 - formatted and main target for openSUSE 11 b2 installation. Whenever I boot and try to use this /dev/sda9 as my root partition for openSUSE 11 b2 it gives me back a suggested /home or /usr folder. It doesn't allow me to create a new root "/" partition using the edit entry of the appropriate menu. Even if I delete it from disk and try to create another for "/" it returns me an error message saying that another previously "/" partition was in use. Is it a "beta bug" or am I missing something? I don't recall having such problem along openSUSE 10.3 installation process. Any idea, please. Thanks Zephir |
