When i'm trying to install 11 alpha 2on a second hard drive,it gives a message unable to install after partitioning, fault is unnable to identify sda1(with vista) ntfs problem -3003. When I install 10.3, there is no problem, only have to change menu.lst for recognizing vista in 10,3. But I want to do a clean install with 11, does anyone have the same problem?

I had something similiar:
http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/in...howtopic=65080
I managed to get it to install with "No ACPI" and it worked ok.
But after a more or less successful install (sound was borked, and I know a small bit about sound) at the first reboot it froze immediately after the grub menu, with nothing on the screen indicating the kernel was starting to load, and no grub errors. It is an early ALPHA release, and my intention in trying the alpha was to write anomaly reports (if needed) on the External Hard drive useability, not on getting the kernel nor sound to work.
So I decided to forget it for now. I may try ALPHA3 or BETA1.
