re: the totally new YaST Software Management interface in Gnome, it seems like it forces installing the newest package from all the repo's you have set up (while the KDE interface as before allows you to select which). Under "Advanced" one can selectively turn off repo's . . . is that the only way to control which package gets installed???!!
