Xserver Requires Apparmor?

After installing 10.3 beta I removed apparmor so that i could run rlocate (a real time locate that uses a kernel module that can't load with a security module {selinux or apparmor} ). When I rebooted everytime I ran "startx" the system rebooted. The only way I could resolve this was to reinstall apparmor.

Is this a bug?

resolved by dl'ing and installing newer xorg rpm's
