Ive enabled compiz and rebooted now the only thing I can see is the outline of the login boxes and my mouse pointer after Ive logged in.

How can i disable compiz from the command prompt?

It took a while to get the thing booted graphically because it seems that 10.3 doesnt like the Radeon X300 like 10.2 did and X crashes with the standard config.

Thank to anyone who answers.

For the record; "gnome-xgl-switch --disable-xgl" should have the desired effect.
