I installed 10.3b3 on my T60 notebook over the weekend and thought my experience might be of interest to those with T60's. I have a basic model, 1.66 dual core, intel wireless and graphics, one gig of memory,14 inch screen, etc. I have ran SLED as a dual boot with winxp since I bought the notebook a year ago but decided to switch to open suse10.2 a few weeks ago. 10.2 installed easily and everything worked. So, as an experiment I installed 10.3b to see how it would work. I have to admit that my first try at installing was a bust, due to my failure to look at the bug reports. I have a logitech wireless mouse, and sax would not run after the install, so no display. No knowing what was wrong, and thinking that the problem was due to my hardware, I went back to 10.2, but after looking around and finding the bug report I did another 10.3 install, with the mouse not connected, and everything worked as it should. I then connected the mouse and ran sax again and all was well. As far as I can tell everything works now. I did not have any problems with the boot setup, my dual boots works fine. Wireless came right up, without any burps. The only thing I do not know about are the desktop effects. I do not use these so I have not tested them.I would like to try them, but to be honest I am not sure exactly what the options are and how they should work. I need to find a good tutorial before playing with these. I used the "one click download" to fix multimedia and that worked without any problems, and I can play everything. So far I am pleased and I plan on installing the final version when it gets out.
