10.3 Beta 2 As A Virtual Machine

Trying to do some playing around of 10.3 as a VM in VMware Workstation 6. I have a couple issues with beta 2 that maybe someone can help out on.

1. Installed the libxine1 from packman and all mp3s play fast in Amarok. Can't find any mp3 plugins for banshee or totem.

2. The ifcfg-ethX increments itself by one everytime I boot up, and I am unable to configure the card in yast. As a work around I just copy ifcfg-eth0 to ifcfg-eth(current number), restart networking and it works. But its kind of a pain to do everytime.

Any ideas on these issues, I might break down and dual-boot with my 10.2 box, but it would be nice to run in vmware.
