Working with NTP and other internet based programs is a bit of a nuisance over a wireless network. NTP checks for internet during boot, yet wireless connects after user/auto login. Other programs, like kontact, have the same issue. It there anyway to connect to a wireless connection before NTP, and other programs request internet connectivity? Alternately, is there a way to delay these internet requests until after the wireless connection is established?

Again, this is only a nuisance. I can always just execute NTP after I login, as well as connect to other programs. Note that "openSuSE Updater" works great, in either a wired or wireless network.

Thank you in advance.

Try adding this line:
Code:
rcntp start
To the boot initializator script file ( ) at /etc/init.d/boot.local
