you only need the madwifi -0.9.3.3-0.1.i586 & madwifi-kmp-default-0..9.3.3_2.6.22.16_0.2-0.1.i586 rpm's to get it working. the easiest way is to add the madwifi repositories & install from there

if you are using the KDE desktop, you can right-click them & select install with YaST from the menu.or look here for instructions on putting the madwifi repo in YaST http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Pac...itories#MadWifi

let's try this way. you have the two rpms required ? make a folder in your home directory.put the two rpms inside it.. then do this:

1 ) open a console
2 ) cd to the folder where the rpms are. mine would be wireless ( as an example ) so, it would be cd /home/andy/wireless change as necessary
3 ) su to root
4 ) type rpm -Uhv *.rpm and press enter.let it do it's stuff
5 ) once done, type SuSEconfig and press enter, let it do it's stuff
6 ) type ldconfig and press enter, let it do it's stuff. you should be back at the prompt.
7 ) then type modprobe ath_pci then press enter.your wireless device *should* now be active.
8 ) close the console.
9 ) go to YaST - network devices - network cards & configure your wireless device
see if this works
