Hi all

Now that I have everything working, there are a couple of things I would like to fine tune. One of which is my wireless.

It works a 100%, actually like I mentioned before, it works better than my wired connection. The problem is that when I boot my laptop up, it does not automatically detect wireless networks (even though I set it up in the network config). I have to right click on network manager and select "connect to other wireless networks" and type in the details.

I have had the same problem in the previous versions as well.

Is there a way of getting it to search for active networks when it boots up?

Thanks,

I click on the knetwork manager icon in the system tray and select "connect to other wireless networks". I then have to enter the network name and other details and it will then connect to the network. After doing this it will then show detected networks (when clicking on the system tray icon).

I would just like to find out if it is not possible to get it to search for networks automatically so I don't have to enter the details every time.

Thanks,

Yes I did. It disconnected me and I could not reconnect as knetwork manager was disabled.
