Hello everyone unfortunately this is my first post, instead I should be writing from linux suse which is on my 2nd pc but unfortunately I am stuck and can't set up my wireless card. So I have to post from XP. Here is my problem I have a Netgear WG111 v2 USB wireless adapter and have read almost every tutorial about wireless on linux.... I used ndiswrapper which I must have set it correctly...and entered static IP, BUT as you can see the card is not receiving anything only transmitting (where to? how knows :lol: ) and of course there is no ping working to my router (192.168.0.1) Here is what I have so far, any ideas on how to get it working?

Andy thank you for your suggestion, I forgot to mention that tried every mode but still nothing.....
Any other alternatives? |

Some bad news... I have the exact same usb nic from my isp.
I never managed to get it going in 10.0, I bought an ralink rt2500 based nic to get wireless going. ... (Edit; how rude to forget, welcome to this forum!! Sad to give the answer above, if you have access to another card try that one first.) |

Unfortunately I saw this coming and just imagine that I bought this NIC just because it was Vista compatible, perhaps it can't be Linux compatible at the same time hahaha I have my older NIC an Netgear (again!) WG311 v2 which is not Vista compatible let's pray that is Linux compatible, can't buy NICs every time I change OS

YEAAAAH! Finaly made it, I am posting from linux now, have made my WG111 v2 to work
the stupid thing didn't save then encryption key for some reason and had to enter it manualy through iwconfig now I am thinging to move to 10.3
