I had the same problem.
oldcpu gave me this link, http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/...103_BRANCH_KMP/, with a new madwifi driver built for the new kernel. It installed without any problems for me and my wireless is back up and working. ckk Edit (oldcpu) - fixed cut and paste error in the URL |

i tried to add schmolle as a repo but it was not digestable. i looked around at the rpm's in i586 and did not find a match for the kernel that suse updated to, 2..6.22.16-0.1-default. there were a lot lot of rpm's for 2.6.47 did you update to that kernel?

I just upgraded to 2.6.22.16-0.1-default and used the madwifi rpms on that site. I think I was able to add the repository because I was having a hard time getting yast to install the local files when I downloaded them. Yast doesn't install local files that great. Finally I figured out the CLI to install local files, and that worked a lot better for me.
