Hello

On my desktop PC (running Windows), I use a Netgear 54Mbps Wireless ADSL Modem Router to access the internet on a daily basis with no problems.

However, I have bought a laptop and installed a few days a go, SUSE Linux 10.3 (which I find so easy to use as a complete newbie).

Unfortunately, the laptop does not have a Wireless Card, so I went out and bought a D-Link Wireless USB Adapter (Model : DWL-G122).

Linux seems to recognise this USB device in the hardware list, but I have tried to set it up in the Netword Card area of Yast, with no success.

Can someone explain, to a total novice, how I would set this up? (as a newbie, simple terms would be helpful!!).

Thanks
Jonathan

according to this http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...andname=D-Link there are drivers available from serialmonkey = http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/ or from ralink = http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Hom...ort/Linux.html
depending on the revision of your card, will determine the outcome of it working. both sites have instructions on how to install
