Just wanted to share.

I got kwlan to work. I know I sound like a b00b. I mean noob! I am I am excited that i am getting the hang of command line and getting stuff to work. Also, got IE6 installed tonight, XP running w/VMware, wifi-radar. IE6 will be gone by tomorrow night! I just wanted to see if i could get it to work. h34r:

Now how do i get some of this junk uninstalled that i installed w/out Yast? Do I just follow the install doc. on where the dir was intalled and delete, or does that leave orphaned files? Clear one hurdle just to get another! LOL

Got my last college final for this semester tomorrow. Time to go study. I am addicted to tweaking Suse.

if it was compiled from tarball, etc, open a console,cd to the directory you compiled from & type this command :

make uninstall

this should uninstall the program.then, if necessary, manually delete any orphaned files you don't need
