Question

Weired thing happened,

Over the past period I used an ASUS wl-107g pcmcia nic.
It always worked flawless using:
- Suse 10.0
- ndiswrapper1.11
- WPA-PSK connection

Now after an laptop accident the pcmcia port is useless.
I plugged USB NETGEAR wg111v2
- Result no WPA-PSK connection.

I can connect without encryption.
The Windoze driver supports WPA when I dual boot that OS.

Why can Suse work with the one and not the other?

Default

I realy still have no clue.

My solution is an Belkin USB nic.
It uses the rt2500 driver like my asus card did, and it works fine.

(the rtl8187 driver does not seem to support WPA in combination with WPA_supplicant0.4.4 that comes with SuSE 10.0)

I consider this thread closed.
