I recently installed 10.3 and a second HD. I have a LinksysWUSB54G adapter connected. Software picked it upand configured it just fine. System boots and picks up the network using NetManager. Problem is after about 5 minutes, the signal strength drops down to about 10%. I don't lose connectivity, just signal strength..

Same system works perfectly using 9.3..Any ideas??

TIA

I have not much experience with 10.3 other than the live CD that seems to detect my pcmcia network card "out of the box"
(SuSE 10.0 needed help of ndiswrapper to make it work.)

I found that with the live CD I occasionally lost my connection, this never happened with ndiswrapper. I did not see any drop in signal strength. You might consider using ndiswrapper.

For help see: http://www.andrewd18.com/ndiswrapper/

(Note; in YaST you can use traditional ifup method in stead of the new networkmanager, perhaps kinternet does a better job!)
