Hi all I want to add more ftp users to my server with following conditions,

1) i want to create individual directory for each user
2) Each user get only access to their own directory through ftp
3) all file must be available for public by typing like this http*//myserver.com/user1/
http*//myserver.com/user2
4) A user with access to whole individual directory under my server for administrative purpose.


some help appreciated .

Need some more info type of server etc
i assume you are using an ftp server in which case it should be ftp*//myserver.com/user1/ or am i mistaken?

am using Suse 10.3 and vsftpd as server software for ftp

Each user can log in with ftp to their home directory using the same user name and password as with a normal login.
There are howtos here and here
