New To Linux And Need Help With Samba

Hi Guys and Girls,

I am new to linux and still learning the ropes so forgive my ignorance. I am trying to set up samba as a primary domain controller which will allow me to connect it to Windows XP machines. I do not want any windows servers but need Windows clients is this possible to do???? I believe it is but when i tried to set it up first time windows could not find the Domain Controller. Does anyone have any good information on this or advise where i can get it.

I need somethign similar than you, and I install (and configure) samba trough yast without problems...
