for full read write access for everyone open a console, log in as root and type chmod 777 /usr/directory/to/file/file.key have a read of this pdf i found useful. read it first. sounds like program needs a new key, i don't use any anti virus so i dont know but just thought typing antivir would have been a shot (since some program i install don't appear in kmenu, so using command you can add them easy enough. |

I've also had problems getting antivir to work in the past but the problems were mainly associated with the dazuko kernel module. Perhaps take a look here,
http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/in...howtopic=50645 These days I use AVG for Linux available from here http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download?prd=afl and run it as either manually or on a schedule. |

sudo chown -R (my username) /usr/lib it will scan when i type in # antivir i open a terminal typed su then my password after that typed: # antivir-gui ill get this in a terminal: WARNING: root is not in a 'antivir' group libxcb: Warning! program tries to unlock a connection without having acquired a lock first, which indicates a programing error. there will be no further warnings about this issue. libxcb: WARNING! program tries to lock an already locked connection, which indicates a program error. there will be no further warnings about this issue. then my antivir gui interface will open if i open in a terminal not signed in as root and type ~> anti-gui i get: my username is not in antivir group libxcb: Warning! program tries to unlock a connection without having acquired a lock first, which indicates a programing error. there will be no further warnings about this issue. libxcb: WARNING! program tries to lock an already locked connection, which indicates a program error. there will be no further warnings about this issue then antivir-gui interface opens but if i type in a terminal: # groupadd antivir groupadd: group antivir already exits should i be seeing a warning?! what step did i miss? am i supposed to be in a group, how? |
