So, I have an existing LDAP Server configuration that is hosted on our "reference" server machine, which we use as the basis to create images and replicate onto the deployed servers for our customers. What I want to do is change the Base DN on the LDAP Server but preserve the default set of data that currently exists in the database as much as possible. Since this is a reference system that isn't actually hosting anything at the moment (other than test clients at times) there is no need to perform this change with consideration for any other systems.

I've done some searching but as of yet haven't found a simple way to change the Base DN while preserving the database. Now, I'm no LDAP expert, so I may be missing something straight forward - any suggestions welcome.
