i have a slight issue with wifi-radar. i have created a link to my /.kde/Autostart folder so it starts at start up. most of the time it starts up, but sometimes it doesn't
the main problem i have is sometimes, after an hour or 2 (sometimes more) of inactivity my wireless internet connection drops and i can't connect, so i think ok no problem just start up wifi-radar and reconnect. yet when i go to start wifi-radar (from kmenu>system>network>wifi-radar) it just doesn't start, it'll ask me for a root password as normal, then won't start. is there any reason for this? the network i'm on, as far as i'm aware is not using suspend/resume cycles, and the driver i'm using is ipw3945 for my intel pro wireless 3945ABG network card. to get around the problem the only way i have found so far is to restart my laptop. which isn't exactly ideal.
are there any reasons why it might not start, or any suggestions to see if we can sort it out?
thanks in advance guys
