Thumbs up

I just installed open suse on my computer, I chose this over reinstalling windows because of all the great things I have herd about Linux.... I am really starting to regret at this point when I have been up for three days trying to get things to work and nothing nothing will co-operate. So now that I have finally got suse up and running I am trying to figure out how to get my linksys 802.11g wireless usb device to work... suse seems to recognize it however it is always showing as not connected... how can I get it connected? I am the most basic of basic of Linux users out there I am just now learning so baby terms would be great!

depending on the model number, e.g. linksys wusbxxx, i may be able to help. so if you could give the full make & model of the device, we will take it from there

make= xdg-menu menus for window maker and other windows managers 44 I see nothing about make or auto make so I guess I am missing those as well? Maybee I downloaded a bad version of open suse? What do I do from here?
