Hi all,

I'm new at linux. I managed Netware 5.x/6.x as file and print servers on companies that I worked. That was very easy to manage users, groups, files and printers on Netware using NDS/eDirectory.

I like the idea to setup a file server with openSuse linux but I'd like to know if there is a free alternative to eDirectory. I'm not sure if samba could replace it.
