Hello, I'm french and new on this forum, so please excuse any spelling mistakes

I recently installed Suse 10.1 x_64 (I am a complete Linux-newbie), and I quickly saw that my wifi usb dongle didn't work.
I looked everywhere on the Internet, and picked up some answers:

-First, I tried to use NDISWRAPPER to use my Windows drivers. My first attempt was unsuccessful, the driver wouldn't work, I got a message saying that the drivers were 32-bits, and therefore couldn't work on Suse.
-Then, I tried the windows 64-bit drivers with NDISWRAPPER. I got a beautiful system crash, nothing was responding, had to turn the computer off with the power switch.

-I also tried to install several drivers, the official ones (0.3 and 0.7 from the RALINK website) worked fine, no error messages with the "make" and "make install" commands, but I got an error after the modprobe: "Driver not supported by Novell".
The unofficial ones wouldn't even get through the "make" command, I got dozens of errors (undefined variables, etc...)
I tried the RPM from serialmonkey, but when I try to install them, a message shows up, saying "Already installed" or "Already in progress", but I can't see any wireless connection with the "iwconfig" command.

I have been working on this for four days now, this is getting really annoying...Please help!

Thanks

Immerczeck
