Kaffeine

I have an annoying issue with kaffeine using 50-60 % cpu when it should be using about 2-5%

Restarting kaffeine makes no difference but doing CTRL ALT Backspace to restart X fixes the problem.
Problem only happens after power up and runs fine after restarting X.
This happens when watching DVB and when recording DVB without rendering

Any pointers where/how to look for clues in the log files would be appreciated.

If I post the Xorg log from a bad and a good start up will this yield any clues?
