Helix Banshee - Normalizer?

Hello,
I'm looking for a normalizer(volume adjustment) plugin for Helix Banshee, which will dynamically normalize the audio so that I don't have to keep playing with the volume.

While I know that I could run normalize (command line tool) over my collection of music files, I'd rather not change them permanently.

Any ideas anyone?

I'm no guru but struggle to see how it needs to analyse the track to see what it needs normalizing to.

What I'd prefer is a plugin, similar to the normalizer plugin for XMMS, but for Banshee.

The idea is that when I play music I don't have to keep fiddling with the volume control to adjust for quieter or louder songs - and I have a mix of ogg vorbis and mp3 files.
