hi
i use kde mainly and so i use kaffeine or mplayer and they usually work. But i cant play any video file or mp3 with totem . it says that i dont have the codecs for ,say, H264 or Mpeglayer 3 (mp3).
i have installed gstreamer and all its extentions (good bad ugly ..) but they dont do a thing.
and in totem about option it says that it uses gstreamer.
what should i do ?(i know i can still use xine mplayer vlc ... but what about gnome default player (totem))

its just that every other multimedia application works (xine w32 mplayer..) but totem with gstreamer doesnt work .
